21st-24th August Severn Canoeing Experience
As part of the Odyssey 30th celebrations we are pleased to offer canoe trips on the River Severn near Shrewsbury, led by Joy Martin, a member of the Odyssey team.
The Severn provides some gentle paddling through lovely countryside with plenty of opportunities to take in the views and spot wildlife.
We welcome you, your family, and friends to join us for a one or two day trip. Minimum age restriction is 13 and over, when accompanied by a parent or adult over 18.
All trips will start at Montford Bridge, about 4 miles from Shrewsbury. Those undertaking the 2-day trip will be taken across the Welsh border, to Llandrinio Bridge to begin the 12 mile journey down river to Montford Bridge.
For those undertaking the 1-day trip, or the second day of the 2-day trip, we will start at Montford Bridge to continue the paddle another 12 miles to Shrewsbury. Here a shuttle will take everyone back to the start.
