This is a unique opportunity to bid on an original, mixed media painting by the renowned artist Monica Groves

Monica Groves (died 2018) Born in London of Irish extraction, Monica divided her time between living in Solva (Pembrokeshire) and Co. Cork. Having spent many years sailing in Celtic waters, she felt challenged to interpret in paint, the beauty, history and culture of these areas, concentrating on essence rather than actual scene, focusing on the interaction of colour within the Celtic landscape.

Mixed media, signed and dated 1998. Garn Fawr is a small hill just to the East of Fishguard in Pembrokeshire. The painting has recently been re-framed and measures 21” wide by 26” tall.
